French-American mezzo-soprano Sarah Scofield appears this season with Opera Philadelphia in their 50th anniversary production of Il viaggio a Reims as Maddalena. She makes her Carnegie Hall debut as the alto soloist in Bach’s Magnificat and Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de confessore. She also joins St. Petersburg Opera Company in Giulio Cesare.
